PodKast: Master Rumours & Doctor Who Classic DVD Sales Record

Kasterborous Doctor Who podKastGet ready for a brand new podKast in which Christian Cawley, Brian Terranova and James McLean discuss the latest Doctor Who news.

This week, we discuss the various rumours concerning the speculated return of the Master in Doctor Who Series 8. Is it Charles Dance? Is it Richard Armitage? Perhaps the new Master will be Steve John Shepherd? We don’t know, but we’re certainly interested and we’d love to hear your thoughts on this particularly interesting topic.

Also, we spend a chunk of time discussing Mark Gatiss’ forthcoming BBC Worldwide junket to Brazil to promote Doctor Who and Sherlock, marvel at the sales figures for The Web of Fear on DVD, celebrate the reunion of the Doctor, Ace and Bernice, and share with you our recommendations!

  1. “It’d be really good if they did more of those live theatre-casts if you could get them on Netflix or on Amazon or through your Virgin box.”

Jesus H Bidmead, Christian! Why not go all the way and ask to have them edited down to a 2 minute TARDISode you could watch on your phone?

Unless this is a different use of “through your virgin box” in which case I’m all in favour.

  2. How about Capaldi would be great in a double role as the Doctor and The Master , then you would really have a darker reflection of the Doctor.

  3. Christian: “…that’s ridiculous…sounds like a fan spasm…”

Why can’t you have multiple Masters in an episode? If you can have multiple doctors; two, three or five etc… in a story you can have multiples of other Timelords too.

      1. Less its impossible, nor that its ridiculous, my point was that it sounded more like a Fan wet dream than anything I could see them doing. Time will tell. Always does. Etc.
