I think it’s always interesting to think about the current series in terms of how future generations would see it. “Remember that time Moffat went mental and came up with Smartie Daleks?” etc.
When you think about it like that, it’s amazing how many pet peeves simply disappear “I don’t like those Daleks, but they were only in about three episodes so I can live with it.” See? Works wonders 😀
