In a slightly different Kasterborous podKast (with a “K”) editor Christian Cawley and podcasting meister James McLean spend a bit of time chatting about Torchwood: Miracle Day and the recent phone hacking scandal in the UK, which appears to have affected various Doctor Who personnel.
According to Christopher Eccleston, he has been hacked, while the Daily Star claimed recently that David Tennant has also been hacked.
If this much us true is it too much to speculate that that Billie Piper and Freema Agyeman were hacked?

I can’t help thinking back to some of the story leaks RTD writes about in The Writers Tale. Could any of them have been the result of phone hacking, I wonder?
You will probably find that a substantial number of people (if not all) that had their phones hacked will be part of a list of those the corporation found to provide them the best publicity or scrutiny – this is a process all papers and media outlets perform as market research whenever a story breaks.
The concept of privacy and the concept of “freedom of the press”, I’m afraid, is portrayed as an illusion to most companies that report the news, simply because they belive you cannot have the former if you have the latter.
